The Bobst Library Computer Center has recently introduced a new service for library users — locks for laptops. Library users can check out the “universal Kensington locks” for use with personal laptops while working in Bobst from the Computer Center service desk on Lower Level 1. The check out period is 3 hours with the option to renew.

The “Microsaver retractable lock” fits into any device with a built-in Kensington slot and works with almost every laptop, including Dell, Mac, Lenovo, etc.

The computer center also provides laptops for use in Bobst Library. Information on the laptops is available at: http://library.nyu.edu/services/computer.html

More info on the lock itself is available at: http://us.kensington.com/html/5666.html
