Using Library Resources in your Blackboard Course Site

Do you want to include course readings and links to licensed library resources in your Blackboard site?

Do you want your students to access full-text articles, book chapters, databases, or other resources directly from your course page?

The NYU Library has thousands of digital resources-all licensed for use on Blackboard. Learn how to add these to your Blackboard site by attending a hands-on session in the library, and find out how librarians can help you with your course site.

Get a head start on your Spring semester. There are six sessions to choose from in December, January and February:

  • Thursday, December 11, 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday, December 16, 2:00 PM
  • Thursday, December 18, 10:00 AM
  • Thursday, January 8, 2:00 PM
  • Thursday, January 15, 2:00 PM
  • Tuesday, January 27, 10:00 AM
  • Thursday, February 5, 10:00 AM

Sign up for a session now by clicking here.

Please note that all sessions require a basic familiarity with Blackboard, and are not intended for those without experience in basic Blackboard features. Please note that we will be using the new (spring 2009) version of Blackboard for our demos, but we will not be able to answer questions about the new release. (For help with basic Blackboard questions, please visit the ITS site)
