BobCat Status Update

We are continuing to restore the BobCat functionalities that were lost during the Thanksgiving weekend as a result of mechanical problems. We anticipate that full functionality will be restored by Wednesday, December 2.

You can use BobCat to perform and refine searches, locate call numbers, see the basic record for an item and link to e-resources.
Items can be temporarily saved in the guest e-shelf for emailing, printing, or sending to RefWorks, but will be deleted when you end your session.

The following BobCat functionalities and services are unavailable:

  • Item status information, i.e., whether a book is available or checked out
  • Online renewal (There is a 50 day grace period for renewals. You can also bring the books in to the library and renew in person.)
  • Place requests for recalls and holds
  • Sign in to see: My Library Account, your tags, personal e shelf
    Your personal e-shelf – Items are still there, but unavailable for viewing at this time
  • “Copies in Library” information returns incomplete information
  • BobCatStandard is also unavailable at this time.
